Here is an interesting behaviour we've observed with Synergy V399:
Whenever we open a document in Synergy and click on the Microsoft Word document that's attached, we have the option to either save the file or open it. Saving it works fine, but when we want to open the Word document directly from Synergy Internet Explorer opens the Windows Security window. I can enter my credentials, but it will not authenticate. If I hit Cancel to this window, the document opens in Microsoft Word without any issue.
I have verified that our Synergy URL is a trusted site in IE and that we are using “Automatic logon with current user name and password”. So users don’t get prompted to enter their user name and password every time they open Synergy. I don’t know why opening a document asks for credentials.
Has anyone else come across this issue? Do you know how to fix it?
