Does anyone know if the printer settings used in OE invoices are specific to the logged in user?
Situation: A user logs in as User1 on a computer and prints OE Invoices just fine to Hi-Impact dotmatrix printer. User2 logs into same computer (computer login hasn't changed, but Macola user has) but the format of the printing is not the same as User1. Both have OE rights, both are using the same computer, and it appears the setup of the form design is the same for both users. Can you export a form design for one user and import the design for another user?
Any assistance is appreciated.

Chris

When you say the format is different for User2, do you mean the fields are printing in different locations or that the font type/size is different? I User2 printing to the same printer?

As far as I know, the default form # is set up in OE Setup and does not change by user. The user can manually select a different form # when they print, however. Also, I suppose it is possible that one of the users has a special "screen" set up for that particular Macola screen (OEINVSCN) and that the default form # has been changed on that. You should be able to look at the form # for both users to see if they come up the same.

The form is system wide not user specific as far as I've found. I have experienced similar issues as you have as it seems that Progression likes some printer drivers but it doesn't like some other Oki Data printers. Laser forms as similar. One day they all line up and the next they decide to print a little higher. No changes in printer drivers or users in most of these cases. I opened several support cases and never really received full resolution. It was always try this or try that. Reinitize this file or that file. We are upgrading to ES so hopefully this will resolve this problem.
