Printing Question - Changing Font #20

Hi,,,,,,,
How can I change the font for printing in PO Receive? I know how to change it for a one-time printjob but need to change it permanently.

How do I do that? Is it even possible? The problem is that the print is so light & tiny and our new laser printer so sharp, our old eyes can't read the darn things!

Many Thanks for any ideas.

Why not try this? I wanted to send you a print screen but cannot copy from Macola and paste onto this post.

Once you have selected the receiver to print, and your printer dialog box pops up, select the "change defaults" option. Hit "properties". Under "layout", select "advanced". Under "print features", there is an option that allows you to lighten, darken, etc the printout quality. Hope this works.

I know this is an old post, but I have run into the same problem and this could help someone else.

I have three laser printers (2 HPs and 1 Lexmark) that I have had to use the generic HP LaserJet 4 driver in order to change the output quality. In fact, I have had the same problem with various inkjet printers and on most of those I end up using the HP Deskjet 550C Series driver. The print quality using their respective drivers was just as you described - clear but very light. I also noticed that many times the right edge was actually cut off slightly. From what I was able to find out, there is no way in Macola to permanently change a default font for any particular report. Macola handles this automatically.

I think the key point is that if you are having problems with printing, try a more generic, older driver.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to install a different driver.
