We have just upgraded to 7.6.3.a and are trying to implement the credit card processing with PC Charge. Has anyone else done this and if so have you ever had a problem posting distributions to the cash in A/R accounts?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Credit card charges are fine on the PC Charge side - however when we post some days it all posts correctly other days incorrectly - we have applied two patches so far in order entry that Macola gave us - but still no luck - what version are you running?

7.6.300a.

When you say it "doesn't post correctly". what does that mean, exactly? Is is not posting at all, poting the wrong amounts? Or to the wrong accounts? More detail please.

it is not posting to our cash account - the amounts are correct and it is only occuring with credit card transactions - I was thinking maybe it was a posting from multiple workstations issue

Are there unposted transactions then? Or did they just disappear?

everything is posting correctly except AR and the cash account for the GL - in AR under the customer's account it does reflect the CC payment - the aging is correct but not the GL - also do you have multiple salespeople preauthorizing and do you have multiple individuals doing the billing?

thanks for all your replies

John,

I am trying to help, but you are not answering my questions.

1) Are there unposted transactions, or did they simply disappear?
2) Are you getting any error messsages at all?

Answer these questions first, and then I will try to help you.

sorry - no error messages -

we run the pre post invoice list by detail under the customer and the invoice number you can see the CC amount applies to the invoice but when you go to the last page to the dist. summary the CC transactions are not included under AR accounts as posting to cash or AR -

so they don't exactly disappear they just don't post in the GL cash account - or AR account therefore the GL AR acct. balance does not equal the AR aging report and I won't be able to reconcile cash - sorry for the long explanation but this is my best ability to answer your questions -

Thanks for the help

If you run an AR Distribution to GL report, are they there?

76300. Why do you ask?

In terms of some of the distributions being there and some not, can you make any sense of which ones are not there? Any patterns? What has Exact said?
