EEM v5.7 - unable to log into database error #1270

We are still running EEM v5.7 and we just encountered the error "unable to log into database".

It appears that our KS_Object.mdb file has exceeded 1GB. I have heard rumours that this causes problems with EEM. Does anyone know how to recover an EEM database after it exceeds 1GB?

Or could there be another explanation for our error? Any help is appreciated.

This is indeed a problem, you can compact or purge the database, or if you are current on annual maintenance, your best bet is to upgrade to version 7.5 and use the SQL database option.

It was the size of our database. We restored to the day before and were able to open EEM & compact the database. Now we are at less than 500MB again and it appears to work fine.

We will move to v7.5 with SQL in the near future, to prevent this same problem from happening again.

Thanks for your help.
