After creating a document type "Engineering Drawing", lets say that the Item field was made manditory AND you check the "allow attachments" box. When going to Documents: New, type "Engineering Drawing", the shown fields do not match what I have set for that document type (ie, it is not possible to choose an item or attach an attachment).
When I go to save the document, it tells me "Error: Manditory Item", then shows all the fields that I have said manditory/optional/etc ...
This is very confusing for training and not good for optional fields that may be able to be filled in but not visible.
Versions are turned on. This also occurs when creating a new document in from a category and then choosing "Engineering Drawing" from the dropdown. What else can I try?
The administrator has disabled public write access.
