I have made several custom webpages for our e-Synergy in classic ASP version. My problem is that the test environment does not display any error messages.
(EX if I miss spell a column in a SQL query no error comes up, webpage just stops presenting data upon error occurance)

This is very frustrating, partially because I am using Visual Studito Express edition 2005 to code these pages, but also because there are no error messages once I visit webpages.

I have no idea where to turn on this feature. (If possible to begin with) On my live server the error messages do come up but not on the test one.

Does anyone have an idea where this is set up? (IIS, web.config?)

Please help. Thanks

I am trying to remember but there are a number of things you can do.
First when the page stops you can right click and select View Source
This will tell you normally in asp the last line that ran before it stopped.
Furthermore in IIS you can turn on debugging
open the site in IIS
go to the home directory tab
click Configuration button
go to the debugging tab
check client side debugging while you are building
this will put a result on the page as it loads if there is an error.

by default it is turned off to keep your code from being shown when a error happens.

Cheers !

Have you tried running the SQL Profiler?
