how are you guys doing?

I would like to ask if someone has experience with integration Macola with e-shop. Our company is powered by Macola ES. We want to launch e-shop in next couple of months. We have to integrate the data (customer account, sales, order tracking) from the shop to our ERP. Please do you have any suggestions on this issue? I did my best with Google, but did not find enough info.

Is this Volusions e-Shop you're talking about?

Assuming yes, Volusion has an available API that can be used to export data;

Basically, I am doing research right now for all options available. It means I can built in on whatever engine I want. I just need to know what is the most useful solution. Because updating Macola ERP by all customer information automatically- it would save us quite a lot of money and time.

Did you suggest Volusion for any particular reason? Because I found that Shopify is able to to export sales data more easily.

Most e-commerce solutions will have some form of API or export function. Most (not all) utilize the MySQL database and you can connect to the tables in MySQL using a MySQL ODBC driver. That allows you to build SQL stored procedures using a connection string (or a linked server) and develop your own data transfer routines if needed.

I believe I've got your point. We were thinking about real-time integration data from eCommerce (new accounts, order info...) to into Macola. However it looks like it is really expensive solution. But if we can export custom .csv from e-commerce and afterwards import it into Macola with our existing tool, than it is easy and almost free
