ES 9.6.100
We have tried in the past (previous versions) to reset allocations and it completely messed up all the serial lots on our open orders. Has anyone else been able to reset allocations properly with serial lots? The process worked correctly when we were not using serial lots. Before serial lots the qty of the components allocated was the only information being reset. But now we need the serial lot information to stay on the order where it was originally allocated.

Are you using hard or soft allocations in IM package settings.

In previous version we were on Hard Allocations. We are currently on Soft Allocations, because we do not want to allocate the serial lot for the components at the time of Order Entry. We want the assembly area to allocate the lot for the component when they pull the part from the shelf.

That being the case, the only way there should be ANY allocations at the serial/lot level is if there are orders in status 8 - selected for billing or 9 - invoice printed. If you print the invoice for all selected invoices and post all the invoices, there should be no serial/lot allocations. Can you try this?
